László Vadász is a Hungarian chess grandmaster. He was born on October 27, 1948 and passed away on March 16, 2021.
Later, Vadász worked as a chess trainer and served as the lead coach of the Hungarian women's chess team. Under his guidance, the team received numerous accolades, including winning silver at the Women's Chess Olympiad in 1990 and gold at the Women's Chess Olympiad in 1988 and 1990.
Vadász was known for his significant contributions to the King's Indian and Sicilian chess defence techniques. He was also the author of the book “The Closed Sicilian''.
