Shamsiddin Vokhidov is a chess Grandmaster from Uzbekistan. He was born on 10th April 2003 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. He received his Grandmaster title in 2019.
Vokhidov began his chess career as a child prodigy, earning many recognitions. In 2014 and 2016, he secured gold at the World Youth Under 12 Chess Championship and the World Youth Under 14 Chess Championship, respectively. In 2018, he won the U16 World Youth Chess Championship.
In December 2019, he won four Uzbekistan National Championships. Vokhidov competed once in the Chess World Cup in 2019, being the youngest participant, and once in 2021; however, he did not qualify for further stages in either attempt.
He has also taken part in many other rated events, including the Aeroflot Open (2020 and 2021), World Junior Chess Championship (2021), and Sitges Open (2021).
