Wang Zili is a Chinese chess Grandmaster. He was born on 4 January, 1968. In 1982 he won the Chinese Chess Championship. In 1990, Wang earned the World Chess Federation (FIDE) International Master title and was awarded the Grandmaster title in 1995. Wang represented China in seven Chess Olympiads from 1980 to 1992 and won four team medals - two silver and two bronze. There are three key phases of Wang's Chess career: early career (1980-1982), peak career (1983-1999), and later career (2000 to now). He’s played in international competitions like the FIDE World Chess Championship 2000, and the FIDE Grand Swiss Tournament 2019.
