Andy Austin Woodward is an American chess grandmaster and prodigy, born in 2010. He earned his first International Master norm at the 2021 North American Junior Championship in Charlotte, and his first Grandmaster norm in October 2022 at the 1000GM Hollywood Masters, defeating grandmasters Illia Nyzhnyk and Gergely Kantor with a score of 6.5/9 - shortly after becoming the youngest player to reach the knockout stage of the FIDE Fischer Random World Championship qualifiers.

A fixture of the All-America Chess Team since 2020, he added his second Grandmaster norm at the Vezerkepzo GM tournament in April 2023 with 7/9, and later that year defeated Hans Niemann. His Grandmaster title was confirmed in 2024.
