Daniil Yuffa is a notable Russian chess player who holds the title of Grandmaster. He was born on January 24, 1997 in Ekaterinburg, Russia. His journey into the world of chess started relatively early; he earned the title of FIDE Master in 2012, International Master in 2014, and finally Grandmaster in 2015. He has participated in a number of important chess tournaments, and his exceptional performance granted him many victories.


Yuffa's successes include winning the Russian Youth Championship twice in his age category, in 2012 and 2013. He also managed to win the silver medal at the 2016 World Junior Chess Championship held in Bhubaneswar, India.


Moreover, Yuffa performed exceptionally in the 2017 European U20 Championship, landing in the second place. In 2019, he won the prestigious Wały Grunwaldzkie Grandmaster tournament with a score of 5½ points out of 9. In 2020, he took part in the "Nutcracker. Prince and Princesses” tournament where he was on the winning Princes (boys) team. This was the first time the Princes team won in seven years of the tournament history.
