I enjoy reading, running and martial arts. However, most of my sparring these days involves chess pieces on the internet and negotiating with auditors at work.

Some of my favorite authors are Frank Herbert, Neil Gaiman, Mark Salzman, Neal Stephenson and Patrick Rothfuss.
