It´s kind of cold here so it´s a great country to play chess!
We were the proud hosts of the world famous 1972 Spassky - Fischer duel. Bobby Fischer liked it so much that he moved here and became an Icelandic citizen the 22nd of March 2005. (although as a fugitive...)
