I am a Liverpool lad, single, of 61yrs now living in the Newcastle area and a retired Accountant, my name is Jack(y)... I have played chess for most of my lifetime, and played for my then local club in St Helens (Merseyside), representing my town on many occasions in inter town matches enjoying both success and failure, I am a purely recreational player these days...I enjoy classical and popular music (but not todays warbling singers and groups) mainly 60s stuff, reading, Golf and of course my home city Football team, Everton FC...it was during my time in the Army, stationed in Catterick, that I started to enjoy the NEast region... following my divorce I decided to move here and have been here ever since....Jacky
