Time for you to watch _The Ballad of Cable Hogue_ (1970 dir. Sam Peckinpah), a beautifully moving eulogy for the death of the West by the late, great, 'bloody Sam.' Suprisingly heartfelt and touching, it is easy to see why this was the director's favorite of all his films.
