First learnt chess from my father and at various times, especially at school became very keen on the game. When I left school I joined the local chess club and for a time played in the county league but then met my girlfriend! Many years absence from the game ensued. More recently, a couple of years ago a friend at work introduced me to this site and I was hooked again.
