I am from Wichita Falls, Texas, USA. I got into playing Chess back when I was in college. As a Computer Science major, my comrades and I spent a lot of time in the comp. lab hacking out code. The chess club, which happened to meet accross the hallway, always had need of some people to play practice games against, so naturally we would play, and be soundly trounced by, them. While I've never been a great player, I really enjoy playing.
