First learned chess at age 8, and I seem to go through good and bad cycles with it. I need to keep the game fresh and interesting. Played in live OTB tournaments from '98-'00 and got frustrated with the atmosphere and the ego's. Nothing worse in chess than an ego that thinks it can't be defeated.
Tournament Entry Rating is calculated by the formula (CurrentRating + HighestRating) / 2. The entry rating will never drop to more than 100 points below your Highest Rating.
