Scurvy

Websters Third New International Dictionary:
scur-vy adj- 1) covered or affected with scurf; scurfy 2) characterized by meanness and despicableness 3) n- a disease characterized by spongy gums, loosening of the teeth and a tendancy to bleed into the skin and mucous membranes and caused by a dietary deficiency of ascorbic acid.

I assume nobody reading this has suffered from scurvy, the disease, none the less I kinda like the word.
