What is Bad Bishop?

A bad bishop is a bishop whose mobility is severely restricted by its own pawns, which are fixed on squares of the same colour as the bishop. The pawns obstruct the bishop's diagonals, reducing it to a passive role—sometimes described as a "tall pawn" or big pawn.
