What is Basque Chess?

Basque chess is a format in which two players play two games simultaneously against each other, one with the white pieces and one with the black pieces. The players alternate between the two boards, creating a double-round situation within a single time frame. This format effectively doubles the number of decisive games and eliminates the first-move advantage, as each player has white on one board and black on the other.
