Candidate Master

Candidate Master is a chess title awarded by the International Chess Federation (FIDE) based on a player’s performance in tournament play. A player needs to achieve an Elo rating of 2200 or higher to be awarded the Candidate Master title. The title is lower than an International Master or a FIDE Master but higher than the National Master's title.
