Chess Terms : Coordination Explained

Coordination

Coordination refers to the harmonious interaction of multiple pieces working together, mutually supporting each other and contributing to a common strategic or tactical objective. Well-coordinated pieces are more powerful than their individual values suggest. Poor coordination—where pieces obstruct or fail to support each other—is a positional weakness.
