What is Demonstration Board?

A demonstration board is a large board used to display a chess game in progress to an audience, often at tournaments. It typically has slots for the pieces and may be either physical or digital. The moves are replicated on the demonstration board by a commentator or assistant which assists spectators in following the game in real time.
