What is Draw Offer?

A Draw Offer in chess is a proposal by one player to his or her opponent to consider the game as a draw, where both players have half a point. This offer can be made at any stage of the game but must be made after a move and before the player hits his or her clock. The opponent must accept the offer before making a move, or it becomes null and void.
