Chess Terms : Game Clock Explained
A game clock is a time control method in chess games, where each player has a fixed amount of time to complete their moves. The clock is designed with two time displays, one for each player. After making a move, a player presses the button on his/her side of the clock, which stops their time and starts the opponent's time. If a player's time runs out before the game is completed, they lose the game, subject to certain conditions. Game clocks are used in chess and other two-player games where the players move in turn.
