Odds

Odds in chess refers to a method used to balance the chances of winning in matches between players of different skill levels. It involves handicapping the stronger player by making them remove one or more of their pieces before the game begins, altering their initial moves, or placing a constraint on the time they have to make their moves. This presents the stronger player with a challenge and gives the lesser experienced player a better opportunity to win.
