What is Quad?

Quad refers to a type of chess tournament in which four players participate. These players are typically grouped together based on their chess rating, leading to many different quad sections in a single tournament event. Each player in a quad plays a game against each other player, totaling three games each. The player with the highest score at the end of these three games wins their respective quad.
