Rapid Chess

Rapid Chess, also known as quick or active chess, is a type of chess in which each player is given less time to consider their moves than in classical chess. Each player is typically allocated a set total time for the entire game, often around 15-60 minutes, plus a small increment for each move, commonly around 10 seconds. The exact timings can vary, but the principle remains that each player has less time to make their moves, adding an extra challenge and increasing the pace of the game.
