What is Round-Robin Tournament?

A round-robin tournament is a competition in which each contestant meets all other contestants in turn. In the context of chess, it refers to a type of tournament where each participant plays against every other participant once. This is different from an elimination-style tournament, where players are gradually eliminated after each round and do not necessarily play against all other participants.
