What is Round-Robin Tournament?

A round-robin tournament is a competition format in which every player plays every other player. A single round-robin involves one game per pairing; a double round-robin involves two games (one with each colour). Round-robins are used for smaller, stronger events and provide the most comprehensive measure of relative strength.
