Chess Terms : Squeeze Explained

Squeeze

Squeeze in chess refers to a strategic maneuver wherein a player compels their opponent into progressively weakening or lessening their position, often through the gradual improvement of the player's own position and pieces. This generally occurs in the endgame stage, where the player with the squeeze slowly takes away all of the opponent's good moves, thus gaining an advantage.
