What is Woman International Master?

Woman International Master (WIM) is a title awarded by FIDE, the international chess governing body. It is given to female chess players who have delivered outstanding performances in international competitions. It is one step below the Woman Grandmaster (WGM) title and it usually requires a FIDE rating of 2100 or higher to be considered for this title.
