Thanks, Russ. On the infrequent occasions when a brief site outage occurs, I'm

always reminded of the fact that all of us subliminally take access for granted.

So just how do you know when the site develops a fit, if you're in zzzz land? Do bells buzzers and sirens go off or something? Just curious.

We use mobile phone alerts from a monitoring service for all server issues. I pretty much have a mobile with me no matter what I do for this very reason. As you can imagine, I'm always overjoyed when I get those late night wake up calls. Its a 24/7 operation, and there is no escape! 🙂
