Unscheduled outage today

And outage that lasted about 1.5 hours occurred today approx 10am GMT.

In this time a failing hard disk in one of our servers was replaced and rebuilt. (Another fine job by our hosts.)

then again i`m usually the one causing the outages anyway 😛

What, no RAID sets or redundancy!

Still 1.5 hours is good if you don't have RAID.

The RAID array was the problem, and the disc swap was a preventative measure.
