Site performance was sluggish/unavailable throughout the night (GMT) of 2007/03/05 but should now be back to normal.

The suspected cause has been dealt with.

I;ve heard complaints from other players as well, and it counts for me too: The site has been very slow to open new pages and submit moves and such, lately. The forum is slightly faster. Any ideas how that could be? Other internet pages seem to open quicker.

No apologies necessary, Russ. On its worst days Red Hot Pawn is still superior to other chess sites.
