Do any of you incline towards thinking that, in its own way, David Mamet's "American Buffalo" with Dennis Franz and Dustin Hoffman. is just as good?
I enjoyed American Buffalo, but not as much as Glengarry Glen Ross. Then again, I saw both as movies. I think Mamet's stuff generally works better on stage.
If you ever get a chance, go see a live production of Mamet's, Oleanna. I saw the original production in NY City starring William H. Macy. It was excellent.
