I like it a lot but don't you think it falls flat at the end? Young says "what a killer" and seems that he's lost for way to end it.

I have to go with Down by the River.

i think the lyrics of Cortez get a bit cheesy really, particularly where he's going on about Montezuma and his people and how great they were - though the music is great. for me, Down by the River, or Cowgirl in the Sand.
