Just watched the documentary film "Deepwater" that chronicles the voyage of Donald Crowhurst, an amateur yachtsman who entered the first solo, non-stop, round-the-world boat race in the late '60s. A fascinating story where pride and circumstances lead to destruction, but not in the way that you might think.
Anyone familiar with the film or the story?
