The Bornberry (when I used to work in a cocktail bar we had to invent a drink that only the barman in question would serve, this was mine):
3 measures of (white) rum
2 measures of melon liqueur
1 measure of strawberry liqueur
5 fresh strawberries
Ice
Mix
Pour into long drink glass and top off with Napoleon or Cointreau.
I worked 2 years as a barman, after school, to make ends meet, and I came up with a disgraceful recipe which only one regular client liked... and only when he was totaly hammered.
1 oz. Bacardi
1 oz. coffee liquor
Seven Up (or Sprite, for that matter)
Pour the whole thing in a tall glass with ice cubes and that's it.

Horrible, I tell you. I named it the Nirvana.
I found a terrible drink online when I was drinking for pain:
The Cockroach (aka The Cock-a-roach)
1 oz. tequila
1 oz. Kahlua
Put 'em together in a glass and mix well. Drink it and wish you hadn't. That's pretty much it.

(I've been so long away from the motherland that maybe there are brands I don't know)
I'm not an expert (bourbon is my preference), but I know the difference between 100% blue agave and tequila mixto. I think the last time I bought a bottle of tequila, it was Sotol Hacienda De Chihuahua Anejo. It was quite good.

Even so, a Texas lime is often larger than a lemon from California, just as a Texas orange is larger than a Florida grapefruit. Texas grapefruit are the size of basketballs.

You ever have the Texas Ruby Reds? They are so good. A family of four could live on one for a week!
