George RR Martin

Anybody been reading his 'Songs of Ice and Fire' series? The first book, Game of Thrones, is about to become a HBO/BBC TV series (similar to how the two split the Rome series).If you haven't read the first book yet I highly suggest it if you are a self respecting Fantasy nerd(that might be an oxymoron) before the series comes out in the fall.
