Jazz tunes should not fade out

I reckon 3 or 4 posts, tops, and then this Thread will fade out. Which is fine. But jazz tunes shouldn't.

on the radio some of em have to fade out because theyre too long anyway and the dj has to get a word in.
on the album, they have to fade out cos theres a crap bit coming up,
or because the damn improvisation just went on too long and bored everybody.

Jazz should end with cymbals or a final blast of the trumpet or perhaps a distinct piano note. Fade out is for radio; jazz is live (or pretends to be).
