Jazz afficianados really do need to take a look at the stuff available on this web site:

    http://www.jazzbootleg.blogspot.com

They are not 'commercial' bootlegs, as such, they are recordings of FM broadcasts, and almost everyting I have downloaded has been pristine, crisp, rich and brilliantly played (there's been the odd audience recording here and there). Artists rarely object to people trading copies of their broadcasts. I've been gorging myself on some of the Charles Lloyd, Chris Potter, Brad Mehldau, Dave Douglas, Bugge Wesseltoft, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Esbjörn Svensson Trio, Bobo Stenson, Arild Andersen, Cassandra Wilson, Dave Holland, Eivind Aarset, Enrico Pieranunzi and (I am led to believe) almost 400 concert performances by many dozens of other artists.

This is a veritable treasure trove.
