Mondays should be avoided; HR's still getting comfortable with Re-Entry.

Wednesday and Thursday, that's when your competition will be interviewing.

Friday, forget it. HR and Department Heads have already begun their weekends.

Always, always follow up the next day to reinforce your desire to be part of this company (and its plans for the future).
