She died the other day. She and her sister Anna contributed backing vocals to a song on a Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds album (there's a funny video of him losing his temper with them as they chainsmoke distractedly and fail to remember the words); belatedly I discover that they were tremendous folk singers themselves.
