Being outside the US i was blocked from using the site but I finally got serious and found a way to access the site!

these forums are searchable via the web....PM's not so much.

Just use a US based proxy server to mask your IP address.

This proxy works just fine, thanks - although since I was booted off Pandora - they had been simply asking for one's zip code, and I said I was living at the UN building in new York, but when they started looking at IP addresses they rumbled me 😉 - I switched to last.fm which I like at least as much as Pandora...

Thanks for the tip, though: I like this proxy better than the one I was using previously for nefarious purposes in any event!

Last.fm has also the advantage of the Firefox add-on "Fire.fm". Very handy with the status-bar buttons.

used it when I used firefox, and thought it was really handy, but now waiting for chrome widgets to start coming on-line... It means I use last.fm less at home, and mainly at work...
