Best grunge band or second best?
Originally posted by darvlayWait, Cornell's new material can be actually called "material" at all?
You mean best Seattle band?
My favourites:
1 - The Melvins
2 - Nirvana
3 - Mudhoney
Soundgraden's Badmotorfinger was a good album. Can't say I liked anything afterwards. Chris Cornell's new material is a joke.

It's hard to beat the Melvins and they are still on tour playing there first album live start to finish with live footage from some of there early shows. A must see for any fan. Anybody listen to Big Business who are a sweet duo (drum and bass) who sometimes play on stage with the Melvins?
Originally posted by StTitoI concur. Big Business is a good time.

Originally posted by uzlessMan, Gish is the only decent album that overblown pompous excuse for a musician Billy ever did. And if your going for pure well rounded rock album Nevermind is it.(teen spirit was only a song)

Nirvana's Smells like Teen spirit is the next best album from that era
Both albums were amazing start to finish
Soundgarden's Badmotorfinger was great too but had a few weak songs that drop ...[text shortened]... ng. The next day i went to the mall and bought TEN and Badmotorfinger. :->
Good times.
