Visited a local church that hosts local jazz gigs. A band lead by Chuck Marhonic who used to play with Chet Baker.

Live jazz can be really great.

1969 I saw Roland Kirk peform 3 times in a small Los Angeles nightclub, sat 5 feet away from him in the front row each night. I saw a lot of the greats in the late 60's, but seeing Kirk live was otherwordly, best show ever.
