I will vote for Bush.
Wether he wins or loses I know God is in Control.
Praise be to God, let's hope he respects democracy enough to keep out of the election.
These people have no reason to vote for Kerry, only that he isn't Bush. They have NO idea the kind of man Kerry is. ONLY that he isn't Bush. If Kerry wins, I know for a fact that having him around isn't going to make any difference in any of the issues that concern these people. So I cast my vote for this president and hope if these people win, Kerry doesn't outsource our defense to the weenies at the UN.

You say that, yet you post here continuing this thread you feel is a waste of space.
If you are so concerned, get involved, and don't post here.
P-
I did NOT say this thread was a waste of space. The waste of space is putting the exact same post on who to vote for on every darn thread in sight.
I mean, if there was some effort to tailor each post to the thread it was on, I might have admired that. But instead we get a bout of copy/paste that wasn't very enlightening the FIRST time.

I thought that was an interesting pair of things to say in the same prayer. If it is God who determines the winner of our elections, does it really matter if someone stuffs the ballot with fraudulent votes? Can vote fraud by humans overcome God's will? Presumably the man doing this prayer on the radio would say "No," but then why even worry about fraud if it cannot change the result of the election which God has already pre-determined?

Oh well evangelicals have been high-jacking the country for a long time.

Coming to think about it I think you might just be right, since Bush winning goes against all logic :-)

For example, he said that as a seminary student he thought Predestination was a horrible concept, and that God wouldn't do things that way. But after being forced by a mentor to read some chapters in Romans, he "was dragged kicking and screaming" into a belief in Predestinationism.

Originally posted by telerionBelieve it or not there are evangelicals who are social liberals. There are some of us who are swimming up stream against the current of "absurdities" you are talking about. There are some on the site (Huntingbear, The Skipper to name a few) who are very accepting of differing points of view. I hope you won't lump us all together. Yes, it is true that when you put an evangelist in front of a TV camera it sort of becomes what Ghandi said about people with a gun in their hands"It changes their whole personality." Politicians do the same thing. Now put a politician in a church with a tv camera; that's a dangerous combination.
