"9. No, Trump Won’t “Keep Us Safe.” I keep hearing Trump supporters claim Trump will “keep us safe.” How exactly will he do that? I mean, he doesn’t detail his plans in any way (which we just covered a moment ago in #8… I know how prone you are to forgetting stuff). He just talks tough and acts tough, but what evidence is there of him being capable of thinking strategically and intellectually? What evidence is there that he can keep us out of wars, or prevent terror attacks from striking American soil? I mean, I play lots of video games… that probably makes me 3000% more qualified to “keep us safe” than Donald Trump is. Me… the guy who writes dick jokes (thanks, by the, to one Donald Trump’s high minded debate style) and other snark on the Internet for a living. I’m definitely not qualified to be president, either, before you ask. Do you people actually ask questions, or do you just take him at his word for no apparent reason whatsoever?"

Trump supporters are stupid, just not the kind of stupid you imaging them to be.

I am yet to meet or talk to a single Trump supporter that is stupid in the way you list in the 10 points. Such stupid people may exist, but I am yet to see any actual evidence that they do.

What I see instead, is people who are willing to pretend those points, because they believe everyone is pretending and that pretending doesn't matter. They are still stupid, just a different kind of stupid.

The funniest part about it, is that they know that all the lies about Clinton are lies, but they still hate Clinton anyway. They have lied to themselves for so long they actually believe it.

u used a lot of words to communicate nothing.

do you have maybe a summary of this post that is equally about nothing but in fewer words?

leaving that aside, do you have any comments about one or more of those 10 points?

You need to get over this habit you have of jumping all over people who are basically agreeing with you. He was just adding another spin to it. But because of your tendency to attack everyone, whether they agree or not, no one wants to agree with you or comment about anything you say.

Just relax a little and understand not everyone is attacking you, some are actually agreeing. I've gotten the same treatment from you for merely agreeing with what you have to say. It just takes away from what you're saying, and blunts any point you're trying to make.

I've noticed this about Z. Perhaps English isn't a first language. Or it could be simple thoughtlessness, or a combination of both.

Seems that sums up Democrat arguments about Trump. Anything real besides hating him for being Republican?

    You people forgot irredeemable.

Trump worships a statue of Adolf Hitler every night and, not many people know this, but he is not really human. He is actually an android created by Putin to control the world. His toupee should have been the give away, but as usual, people are stupid.

Then there is Hillary Clinton. Marauder has spent hours with me explaining away all the right wing lies about her. She is actually trustworthy and highly intelligent and the picture of virtue. She is our only hope.

"You need to get over this habit you have of jumping all over people who are basically agreeing with you."
    "habit"
no, i don't need to do that.

" He was just adding another spin to it."
nope. he threw a word salad to sound intelligent. he went about clinton supporters (because they are relevant to this thread) then immediately said the points raised in the article are invalid because he, a zambian living in South Africa (if i remember correctly) didn't meet any trump supporters acting that way.
so in fact, he didn't agree with me, and what is worse, he didn't agree with me in a stupid manner.

"Just relax a little and understand not everyone is attacking you, some are actually agreeing"
if that's what you got from my reply to him, perhaps you should read it again. along with my op.

"I've gotten the same treatment from you for merely agreeing with what you have to say."
i don't need you to agree with me. i want from you, if you choose to reply to me, to form a valid argument. i want you to not be stupid.

"It just takes away from what you're saying, and blunts any point you're trying to make"
this is what i am talking about. if you are saying something stupid i am going to point it out.
my arguments stand on their own. or don't, you are free to attack them. if you say something irrelevant to the discussion or something flat out stupid and i point that out, it in no way diminishes what i said before. because i am responding to something irrelevant, remember?

On 14 Oct. a journalist tweeted that at a recent Trump rally, a Trump supporter shouted from the back "Stay on the issues" . Trump's campaign manager Kellyanne Conway responded with "That was me".

This is funny and sad. Even if meant as a joke it's still an indication of how exasperated some of his surrogates are of having to defend the indefensible crap he spews.
