10 years of Kofi - Irrelevent sideshow?

At nearly the point of standing down as secretary general of the UN has Kofi Anan achieved anything substantial in fostering a world consciousness or has he only served to highlight the complete irrelevance of the organization he led?

It does everything the US and UK governemnts wants it to do. KOFI is a puppet leader of a puppet organisation.
