EDIT: The title is in correct, I don't know why "more" was added. 4 cops total were indicted.

4 ex-cops indicted on US civil rights charges in Floyd death
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — A federal grand jury has indicted the four former Minneapolis police officers involved in George Floyd’s arrest and death, accusing them of willfully violating the Black man’s constitutional rights as he was restrained face-down on the pavement and gasping for air.
A three-count indictment unsealed Friday names Derek Chauvin, Thomas Lane, J. Kueng and Tou Thao.
Specifically, Chauvin is charged with violating Floyd’s right to be free from unreasonable seizure and unreasonable force by a police officer. Thao and Kueng are also charged with violating Floyd’s right to be free from unreasonable seizure, alleging they did not intervene to stop Chauvin as he knelt on Floyd’s neck. All four officers are charged for their failure to provide Floyd with medical care.

One thing from the article that really needs to be discussed:
Chauvin was also charged in a second indictment, stemming from the arrest and neck restraint of a 14-year-old boy in 2017.
So this cop wasn't charged for a crime against a 14-year-old until after he was convicted of killing someone else in a similar way?
It's rare in the U.S. for cops to be indicted by a jury; here is the result of that. Floyd's death could've been prevented had a criminal cop been indicted years ago with a crime he should've already been charged with.

@dood111 saidBecause, according to the indictment, his seizure was effected by " the use of unreasonable force" which violated Floyd's " right, secured and protected by the Constitution and laws of the United States, to be free from an unreasonable seizure, which includes the right to be free from the use of unreasonable force by a police officer."
Floyd was caught passing a counterfeit 20 dollar bill how was his detainment illegal?
Plus they DID call for medical aid but he was dead when they got there.

The indictment in Count 3also alleges that the officers "saw George Floyd lying on the ground in clear need of medical care, and willfully failed to aid Floyd, thereby acting with deliberate indifference to a substantial risk of harm to Floyd. This offense resulted in bodily injury to, and the death of, George Floyd." This suggests merely calling for an EMT is inadequate to discharge a trained officer's obligation not to violate an " arrestee's right to be free from a police officer's deliberate indifference to his serious medical needs" under these circumstances in the view of the Grand Jury.
