He has a right to his opinion. I don't have a problem with people who come to the US legally. Its the illegals I have trouble with. Instead of trying to go after them however (9 million), the govt. should go after the people that hire them, that will put a stop to illegal immigration (or at least slow it down to a crawl).

Bruce is right and his critics are wrong -- most of the illegal aliens coming from Mexico drop out of school by 8th grade (if they're male) or 5th grade (if they're female). As evidence, I would like to posit a new study by the Manhattan Institute's Edwin S. Rubenstein. He concludes that U.S. taxpayers are giving more than $9,000 a year in cash or benefits to each immigrant, a third of whom are in the country illegally. That’s $36,000 for each immigrant household of four. So let me ask you: Do literate people need $9,000 a year from U.S. taxpayers?
