An analogy:

"See that bank across the street? All the money in there is actually mine, but the bank stole it from me. I need your help in getting my money from the bank; you need to do X,Y and Z."

So the crime starts with a claim and then proceeds by overt acts to attempt to obtain an illegal purpose.

That's a criminal conspiracy.
Ha. So if I tell suzianne this story, and to go get my money, and watch her go across the street and she gets it, I am guilty. Guilty of what. I sat on a curb and watched the foolish person.

I LOVE the way you glossed over that SHE performed said overt act. Please re-write this vignette, that our lesser members will understand more fully that I have nothing to do with what she does, and, that she robbed a bank because of what someone told her. Are you sure you are a paralegal. I taught ethics!
Oh, and save any Agency/Principal liability, which only applies to torts anyway.
Hey, Vivify, those people are not home! If his keys are in the car, you oughta grab it and take off!!! I will sit on the curb!

geez
Geez.

Uhhh, give me an example of a 'claim' that one might make which would amount to a crime. Like, if I go out to the park and claim xyz, it would be a crime.
A claim. Not a scream meant to incite terror in the hearts, fear of death. A claim. You libs can extrapolate a dog dish.

Screaming "FIRE!" in a crowded theater. You know, just for a giggle.
Hint for Suzie: You are on a Delta from Topeka to Paris....You jump up and 'claim' "There is a Bomb on the plane!!" Naa, that does not qualify as a claim, does it. It is something else, kinda like the Trump thingy. Trump thing a claim, theater fire and plane bomb, not so much.
Just trying to bring you along.................................

The 5 questions from the article:

1) Can prosecutors prove Trump knew his claims were false?

2) Why was Trump not charged with aiding or inciting an insurrection?

3) Who is ‘Co-Conspirator 6’?

4) How big a fundraising boost will Trump get?

5) When will a trial take place?
All the questions that make a democrat drool lol

LMAO! So you really think that if Person A convinces Person B to do a criminal act for Person A's benefit, Person A is exempt from criminal prosecution?

Yeah bud, you'd definitely be guilty of commiting a crime, with no doubt. You can't incite criminal activity and defend yourself with the first amendment.

😭

Are you really that stupid?

Faithless electors and fake electors are not the same thing at all.

Fake electors is illegal. The other is not, and in fact, was part of the reason for having the Electoral College in the first place. It allows electors (real electors, not fake electors) to prevent demagogues from taking the White House. Since it didn't work in 2016, it doesn't seem there's a reason to continue with an Electoral College at all.

Democrats did it first, 60 years earlier in Hawaii.

The non-digitized files of the National Archives, show the three Kennedy electors signed documents that are remarkably similar to the false Trump-elector certificates.

The certificates describe the three Democrats as the “duly and legally appointed and qualified” members of the Electoral College. The envelope containing the certificates, stamped Dec. 22, 1960, includes another avowal: “We hereby certify that the lists of all the votes of the state of Hawaii given for president … are contained herein.” The documents do not mention the ongoing recount or that Nixon’s Hawaii victory had been certified.

I see now you two are divvying up the money, missed that. Then both are the criminals, of course. My subconscious naturally thought you were applying it to Jan 6, when Trump was only speaking. Speech. But it has me wonder how you would do such an analogy about Trump telling everyone to fight like hell. So your analogy means nothing in this thread. That is, one cannot see your point of a bank robber and a wheel man robbing a bank. I don't get it. Run it by Sonhouse, maybe?

See, you can't even type some things which are sensitive... so saying that out loud is probably, and quite rightly, a crime as well.

Not on subject sorry. Making a claim is what I said, not screaming an upset to a crowd. Making a claim. Making a claim, Sue. Trump did not scream like a person in a crowded theater. Forget it,, you won't think of one.
Yes he did.
He's forever squealing like a fukking pig.

Big day, Shav? Isn't this when checks arrive in the mailboxes for you and Zhalanzi?

I stopped with #1, BECAUSE the claims of Trump are irrelevant. What he thinks about the election etc is not a crime. You kids sure throw that word crime around a lot.
like everything before, this is falling apart.

It is nothing more than election interference, using the doj to attack political opponents.
