"Are white nationalists training kids to kill?"...or some other ridiculous headline.
Video games where you shoot people at random, even right in the face at close range, music videos glorifying gangster life and movies will desensitize anyone.
Not everyone will become a shooter but those 3 things play a huge part developing the ones who do become shooters.
If you look at the timelines... random shootings and school shootings exploded after the development of video games that are first person shooter.
Obviously bad parenting is involved too.
