I predict there will be an reference to a certain ex-Vice President within 5 posts. And then we will descend into a very familiar, tedious argument ........................

Aaaah a link so grand it deserved to be posted twice 🙂

I think that it is NOT covered in snow. You are irresponsible and a terrible person for suggesting that so much of the country is covered in snow. There definitely is some ice in there.

What is the debate again?

Please oh PLEASE tell me this isn't another "holy crap it snowed therefore there is no global warming" thread...

Fortunately it has thawed here and the snow is gone. It tends to cause major disruptions to train travel and I travel by train a lot (around 700 miles per week).

This is the fourth post since the prediction was made, and we are still just steering clear... As in Holland, it was massively snowy here up to New Year but now is unseasonably mild. Our winter's gone west, clearly!

Why would anyone be interested in bringing up Dan Quayle on this thread?

The debate is obviously whether it's true that I love winter.

Duh.

I think you don't.

In fact Jefferson said:

It is inconceivable that a man such as sh76 would possibly enjoy the winter

Since a founding father was misquoted as saying so, it must be true.

And was it not Madison who said:

ManBearPig is a grave danger to the public and must be battled with all available resources.
