In Matthew, i believe, God says "Judge not lest you be judged" but I am constently seeing all the Christians on this site judging others to a life of damnation. It also says something about casting pearls before swine. I think this refers to preaching to those that will not appreciate it. So why do you all keep pushing your religion on the swine on this site? Sorry fellow swine, no offense intended.

If you are going to judge/condemn someone you better not be
doing the same thing. For example, if I am stealing from work
and someone steals from me and I complain and judge them
I have shown I know right from wrong when it comes to stealing.
I would have no excuse before God on that point.

When it comes to damnation, well we all are sinners beyond that
it is who gets saved, pulled away from that faith by accepting God's
salvation in Jesus Christ. Being saved you'd like to take as many
as you can with you, even if they are standing next to others who
do not want to hear it about it and complain while they do.

Pearls before swine, why put something precious out where others
will cast mud on it. It is not simply a Christian thing to avoid doing
that. Preaching the gospel to those that need it what all Christians
are called to do, what is done with that gospel is up to those that
hear it.

I don't really think it means if you are doing the same sin. I think it means if you are sinning. So maybe I should have said "Let him who is without sin cast the first stone". Let's hear from the stone casters.

okay, maybe a generalization, but you don't find the non-religious folks damning anyone to a life of eternal damnation.

Cliff, a common verse to counter anyone casting criticism is 'Judge not lest you be judged'. I know, I used it before, but this is widely misused. That verse is in reference to Christians judging others, yet not leading Christian lives themselves. For example, it is wrong to condemn homosexuality, when you yourself are committing adultery. Both are sins and both according to scriptures are severe enough to prevent you from attaining salvation.

If you have a look at 1 Col 5 it talks about a man who had taken up with sleeping with his fathers wife. This is explicitly condemned in Levitical law, and considered 'sexually immoral'.

1 It is widely reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and the kind of sexual immorality that is not even condoned among the Gentiles--a man is living with his father's wife. 2 And you are inflated with pride, instead of filled with grief so that he who has committed this act might be removed from among you. 3 For though absent in body but present in spirit, I have already decided about him who has done this thing as though I were present. 4 In the name of our Lord Jesus, when you are assembled, along with my spirit and with the power of our Lord Jesus, 5 turn that one over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that his spirit may be saved in the Day of the Lord. 6 Your boasting is not good. Don't you know that a little yeast permeates the whole batch of dough?
7 Clean out the old yeast so that you may be a new batch, since you are unleavened. For Christ our Passover has been sacrificed. 8 Therefore, let us observe the feast, not with old yeast, or with the yeast of malice and evil, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
9 I wrote to you in a letter not to associate with sexually immoral people-- 10 by no means referring to this world's immoral people, or to the greedy and swindlers, or to idolaters; otherwise you would have to leave the world. 11 But now I am writing you not to associate with anyone who bears the name of brother who is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or a reviler, a drunkard or a swindler. Do not even eat with such a person. 12 For what is it to me to judge outsiders? Do you not judge those who are inside? 13 But God judges outsiders. Put away the evil person from among yourselves.

The author is explicity instructing Christians to judge within the church and not outside the church. There is little point me telling you that you are a sinner and immoral should you not believe in God or Jesus. Christians are required however to live a life that represents God. Should there exist no difference in the behaviour of Christians and non-Christians, there is little point in promoting your faith. Ofcourse as there are numerous denominations, one could argue that the church is split, so it gets a bit tricky. Either way Christians are required to judge people claiming to be Christians. We cannot allow someone to claim to be from Christ, yet commit adultery with a member of his congregation and in doing so, make a mockery of the faith. We have to condemn such actions in the same way we have to condemn the actions of a priest that molests a child. That is essential.
